At long last, the Toronto Raptors have secured their own D-League team. The franchise will be based in Mississauga at the Hershey's Centre and will be named something along the lines of "Raptors905", according to a report from Doug Smith of the Toronto Star.

General manager Masai Ujiri spoke Tuesday morning about being “open for business,” the D-League, the draft and Greivis Vasquez’s comments.
After revealing that the Raptors were in negotiations with the NBA about a D-League team, Tim Leiweke revealed that the team will be coming out of GTA next season.
The Raptors are reportedly interested in getting PBL's Rochester Razorsharks as a D-League affiliate, though the interest doesn't appear to be mutual.
