If a point guard is the quarterback of the basketball court, then Jose Calderon is the kind of “game manager QB” that doesn’t have a great deep arm but he makes smart passes and rarely turns the ball over. He probably isn’t a top-10 PG, but he’s closer to that group than he is to the bottom 10. People who try to paint him as a glorified backup are just haters.
