Toronto Raptors Morning Coffee Jan 18
Like that Dec. 28 win over a Dirk Nowitzki-less Mavericks, the Raps went into this one vastly undermanned. Unlike that game, in this one the Raptors came up short.

The Raptors did not get a fair shake from the refs yesterday afternoon. Questionable decisions have gone against the Raptors in their previous two outings as well and on those occasions I shook head and moved on, hoping it's just lady luck being cruel.
Raps lose 85-81. Refs swallow the whistle, Bargnani's worst game yet.
The Raptors look to end a 3 game losing streak on the 2nd game of a 5-game road swing in 'Nawlins.
Two things I noticed. First, you know how Kevin Garnett always nabs the ball right from the rim when somebody tries to shoot after a whistle just to get a practice shot in? Ed Davis does that too.
“I’m proud of the way our guys fought in this game,” said coach Jay Triano. “I can’t ask for much more from our guys in a back-to-back when we have so many guys hurt."
Not to sound the alarm bells, but the Raptors appear to be a run-away train with no end in sight, at least not one that has a happy ending.
Raptors look to go up 2-1 in the season series against the Pistons at home at the ACC before heading out on the road for a 5 game road swing.
“Our effort and intensity is good, we just have to finish plays and I think a lot of that has to do with youth,” Triano said.
