The Toronto Raptors aren’t the only team with a terrific mascot often worthy of the highlight of the night.
With the Charlotte Hornets celebrating a Throwback Thursday night – #TBT, dawg – Hugo the Hornet was busting out some serious old school dance moves.

The entire Hornets aesthetic since their redesign is perfect. The honeycomb court design is the best in the league, Hugo is a top-tier mascot, and the purple-and-teal color scheme is absolutely aces. Having former Raptor and sire of the greatest shooter of all time, Dell Curry, on the call as an analyst is cool, too. I’m all-in on the Buzz City experience.
(But yo, Hornets, cool it with the great defense here in the fourth, cool?)
