Over the last few seasons, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have grown up together. They’ve been through a ton. They’ve been bad, they’ve been good. They’ve made All-Star teams separately and together. They’ve been doubted. They’ve slumped. And now they’re heading to the Eastern Conference Finals together.
“The things that we’ve been through this year,” Lowry said when asked what he was thinking of with a towel over his head late.
And already, they’re looking ahead.
“We ain’t satisfied. That’s just our mentality…Our goal was to play as long as possible,” Lowry said, not giving himself much time to appreciate. “Yes, we’re excited, but we want to continue to get four more wins…It’s still basketball. They gotta lace ’em up and we gotta lace ’em up.”
“This organization deserves it,” DeRozan said. “We’re not done yet.”

“I love my daddy!” Diar opened the presser. “Good night!” she ended it.
