The Lithuanians (3-1) looked to secure a spot in the round-robins as they took on the Bosnians (and Herzegovinians; 1-3). The Bosnians boasted the Brooklyn Nets’ Mirza Teletovic who you’ve never heard of because he’s not very good (in this game, however…).
Lithuania was looking to improve to 3-1 on the tournament as they faced Montenegro (1-2). This game featured a matchup of two promising big men; (our beloved) Jonas Valanciunas and Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic.
Jonas Valanciunas gets the start at centre following his stellar performance against Macedonia. He was brought off the bench against Macedonia, but he clearly played his way back into the starting lineup.
