Andrew and I jump right back into the thick of things on a Sunday afternoon:

Part 1:

  • Knicks loss – issues guarding ‘Melo and Stoudemire
  • Dwane Casey explains the defensive problems we’ve having
  • Statistical drop-off in defense in April
  • ESPN’s new +/- stat and its Raptors application

Part 2:

  • Barkley supports the Raps, Kenny doesn’t – we get the audio
  • Early analysis of potential Nets matchup – Shaun Livingston is the topic
  • Are the Nets a bunch of old guys who were All-Stars, or a force to be reckoned with
  • Best advantage vs the Nets
  • Worst disadvantage vs the Nets
  • Experience counter

Part 3:

  • Listener questions – Amir’s hair, bench play, doubling JJ
  • Aaron Gray vs Dwight Buycks – heated, emotional debate
  • Look ahead to the final two games

It’s funny that after tonight the Raps are back in 3rd so all your analysis about the Nets matchup may not actually occur. If it doesn’t you guys probably should do a playoff themed Raptors Weekly on Thursday or Friday.

Yep, better do a Wizards, Raps preview cause that looks more likely after tonight.

We’ll do a Raptors Weekly Extra pod once things are final. Thanks for listening.

Part 2 of this pod still might come into play, given the Raps final game in New York.

Ha, was just thinking, no, the real issue with the Sunday afternoon games and pods is that this precise issue can arise…
I will do my best to just let this whole thing play out. Things keep changing. Ideally, Miami gets the 1 and we get the 3, play Was or Cha, and beat Indy… btw, Cha will prob usurp Was. They will run table and Was will lose again and Cha has TB. Why can’t Miami just beat the fucking Hawks?! AH!!!!

Alright, let just win tomorrow s game and loose against NY again and get the fourth seed! I prefer Indiana than Miami..and please stop the Nets thing. We ll beat those old guys easily…………..Toronto will sweep the nets.
