Cory Joseph had himself another strong night off the bench, continuing to make the case for increased playing time alongside Kyle Lowry.
Despite the team being thin on the wing Tuesday, Joseph didn’t enter the game until quite late in the first quarter. He was a fixture from there, scoring three points with four rebounds and six assists in 11 first-half minutes. All three of those points came on a terrific drive that drew the contact from Lou Amundson and, as is sometimes necessary, some love from the rim.

Joseph would finish the game with 12 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in 27 minutes, shooting 3-of-8 from the floor. The Raptors were +6 with him on the floor, and Casey was aggressive using Joseph and Lowry together late, as has become his custom in the early part of the season.
