It’s been a pretty fun point guard battle in Chicago on Monday night, with Kyle Lowry at the top of his game going head-to-head with Derrick Rose, who brought out some of his vintage moves for this one.
Despite the best efforts of the returning Jonas Valanciunas on Rose in the post, Rose was able to make a throwback bucket. He picks up his dribble and appears to be in trouble but a great head-fake and hesitation allows him to get the requisite separation for a tough layup off-window over the big Lithuanian’s outstretched arm.

As of this writing, both lead guards have 20 points and the Bulls lead by five, but Lowry has the 7-4 edge in assists.
