The Raptors have released their 2021-22 schedule. Here it is on NBA.com – home games to be played at Scotiabank Arena. Though the Raptors have not released their preseason schedule, some other teams have released theirs and the games appear to be:
- October 4 – Sixers at Raptors
- October 7 – Raptors at Sixers
- October 11 – Rockets vs. Raptors (unclear if home or away)
Some key points about the regular season schedule are below:
- Raptors start the season playing their first 5 out of 6 at home
- Raptors end the season playing 8 out of 10 at home
- The home opener is on Wednesday October 20 against the Wizards
- Raptors play away to Boston in the second game of the season on Friday Oct 22
- There’s one game on TNT – Thursday Feb 3 versus Miami (Lowry’s return)
- There’s one game on ESPN – Friday Jan 21 at Washington
- Two six-game road trips, one starting November 15 and one starting March 6
- Kawhi Leonard makes another return on New Year’s Eve – Dec 31
- NBA All-Star Weekend is February 18-20
- Raptors play the defending champions, Milwaukee Bucks, on Thursday Dec 2 at home (they pay them only three times)
- The longest homestand is seven games starting on Nov 28
- The season ends on April 10 at MSG
Finally, the Raptors will play the Knicks on November 1 to mark the 75th anniversary of the NBA. The first game ever played was between the Toronto Huskies and New York Knicks:
