Hey Mr. DJ., Turn the 10-Day Contract Up: DJ Wilson is back

The Toronto Raptors sign DJ Wilson to a second 10-day hardship contract.

If Rhianna is down, I’m down.

(Man, this was a destroyer on the dance floor).

According to Josh Lewenberg of TSN, the Toronto Raptors are bringing Mr. DJ Wilson back for another 10-day hardship contract.

Wilson first joined Toronto when virtually the entire Raptors roster entered Health and Safety Protocols in late-December. DJ was the sole replacement to leave an impression.

The former Milwaukee Buck and 2017 17th overall pick played a total of 2 games for the beleaguered Raps averaging 12 points, 7 boards, 2 helpers, 2.5 thefts (5 in one game), and 0.5 blocks. DJ may have gotten more run with the Raptors, but he, himself, was forced into Protocols.

It’s no surprise DJ tickled Masai and Nurse’s fancy. He’s now the tallest Raptor on the team at 6’10”; he runs like an ostrich racing a car and has a 7’3″ wingspan. He’s an obvious 4th big if you want more size while also keeping the length + strength scheme intact.

Welcome back, DJ.
