VIDEO: Bismack Biyombo has 2 great blocks in huge 1st half

Bismack Biyombo will haunt the Bucks' nightmares.

Bismack Biyombo has been absolutely everywhere in the first half against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The soon-to-be backup center has been a monster on the glass of late and is coming off of a career-high 20 rebounds on Tuesday. He’s been among the league’s top-10 rebounders on a per-opportunity basis since taking over for the injured Jonas Valanciunas and has recorded double-digit rebounds in six consecutive games.

That includes Saturday’s game, as Biyombo hauled in 10 in the first half alone. He also shot 4-of-5 from the floor (including a set jumper on the baseline), giving him an 11-and-10 double-double at the break. And, of course, there were the blocks. Biyombo had three of them, two coming in emphatic fashion on dunk attempts.

The Raptors as a whole struggled some defensively, sending Milwaukee to the line for five and-one opportunities, and the sides played to a draw in Biyombo’s five minutes. This is a bit of a trend with Biyombo playing so well – despite his admirable performance, the team’s still been better with Valanciunas, and Biyombo’s played to a -27 during his six-game rebounding streak.
